It seems like ages since I last made a card, we had a new kitchen put in which involved knocking down walls so all my craft stuff needed to go away, then my printer gave up the ghost and died on me but I've got a new one now so hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things. Anyway todays card is for Bugaboos Monochromatic Challenge, I've used Clyde which was a freebie from Bugaboo a few weeks ago. I've just noticed that I have spelt flaming wrong so I have since changed it LOL

There's a new challenge just started over at the Cuddly Buddly Blog and the theme is Cosy Christmas. To enter all you have to do is make your card using stuff you have purchased from the shop and post a link to your card on the blog. I have used digi papers from Cuddly Buddly Let It Snow, and the image is from the Friendly Snowman set, this set comes with pre coloured images as well as black and white images that you can colour yourself. Sorry about the rubbish photo but the flash reflected off it.

It's been ages and ages since I've entered a challenge but when I saw that the Catch The Bug Challenge was Anything Goes I just had to join in. This was an easy challenge for me seeing as I love Bugaboo images, and I've bought so many lately I had a big choice of images I could use. I might even make another one for the challenge tomorrow because I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment and want to make the most of it before my mojo runs away again. Oh and while I'm here, all Bugaboo images are half price during November, how cool is that.

It's been a long time since I have been in the mood to make cards but I think my mojo is returning, slowly. Here are a few of the cards I have made recently, all quick easy ones but it's a start. The first is for Linda's Card Challenge over at Cuddly Buddly, I've used one of Kim's stamps for this one.

The next three all use Bugaboo digi stamps, I love these image they are so easy to colour and the sentiments that come with them are great.

And the last three all use digi images from Di's Digi Dowloads I love these images they're so cute.

Can't remember the last time I entered a card challenge but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things starting with this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge. I love this sketch it was so easy to follow. I have used my gorgeous new digi stamp from Karen's Doodles. Something Different

Seeing as I'm struggling to make cards at the moment I thought I'd try my hand at jewellery making. The first photo is a bracelet and the second earrings. I took loads of photos of these

but for some reason I couldn't get a decent one. The bracelet is actually pink and blue beads and the earrings aren't blurry in real life and have got little roses inside the bead. Neither are perfect, I know, but for a first attempt I'm quite pleased with how they have turned out. Katie has already pinched the bracelet for her friends birthday.

I'm back off my holiday now and trying to get back into the swing of things again. Had loads of washing to do but have more or less caught up on that now, thankfully. Not really in the mood for card making at the moment and my laptops on the blink so thats making things harder but hopefully I'll get back into the card making mood soon. Back to work for me tomorrow too after a six and a half week break so I'm not looking forward to that and the girls are also back to school. Once I'm back to the usual routine I will try and catch up on blog hoping and hopefully get a bit of inspiration.

Morning all, I've scheduled this card to go onto my blog because I'm on holiday so I'm hoping that Blogger is behaving and has put it on at the right time. It's my DT card for the Forever Friends challenge which this week is to use Eyelets or Brads on your creations, I have opted for eyelets and have put one either side of my image and one in the middle of the flower and inside of the eyelet hole I have put a glittery gem. Two cards in one day from me I must be on a roll. This one is for the ABC challenge, which is B for buttons and the CCT challenge which is Lazy Dayz - summer inspired cards. Nothing says summer more to me than a nice strawberry ice-cream on a hot summers day but perhaps with the weather we seem to be getting an umbrella would be more appropiate. This is my card for the PTW challenge and this week you can take you pick of any of the past challenges. I have choosen Simply Stripes which was one of the challenges in February 2008. I have kept this one nice and simple and have used paper from a local craft shop but I don't know what make it is. The image is a gorgeous new stamp called Katie from Cuddly Buddly. They come in two sizes, this is the smaller one and you can buy proper little clothes for them too. I have paper pieced my image to match the paper on the background.

My card for today is for two challenges, the SCSC which is a gorgeous sketch from Jill and the PBSC which has a theme of Summer. Things didn't go as planned with this one though. First up when I went to layer my image onto matching card it was too big for the sketch and covered most of the flower paper so I inked the edges instead with what I thought was the same colour ink as the cardstock but now that it's on the card it looks a completely different colour. Oh well, not to worry. Papers are by Doodlebug.

A Few Awards

I have received some lovely awards recently but just haven't got around to blogging them. The first is from Victoria, thank you Victoria.

The second one is from Shaz, thank you Shaz. Seeing as I have recieved these awards before I won't pass them on this time but would like to say a big thank you to Shaz and Victoria for thinking of me.

The third one I received today from Jacee, thank you Jacee. I really appreciate it.

Now onto the fourth award, this one is from Natalie, I received it a while back now but completely forgot about it so I would like to apologise to Natalie for not blogging it earlier.

The whole thing started with the movie "Pay It Forward" The role model of Haley Joel Osment, gives a great deed to another person. The only attach to the person that receives it is that he/her has to promise to give something that matters to others. A simple demand, this may not be as simple as it sounds? Someone has now taken the principle further, and made it into a gift. The rules are simple - everyone can join, and only three rules have to be fulfilled:

1. You must have your own blog, so that you can spread the message.

2. You must like to make others happy.

3. You must ship your gift within the next 365 days

I have made todays card for two challenges the Pollycraft challenge which is Diamonds and Gems/Bling and the PTW challenge which is to use a download. I have used another one of my new Twiddly Wings digistamps from Pollycraft, coloured with Promarkers with glamour dust added to her wings. I have used gems for her bangle and have also added gems either side of the sentiment although I have just noticed that one of them has slipped. Papers are by Doodlebug.

In The Jungle

Todays card is for the SCSC. This weeks theme, In The Jungle, has been set by Wendy. Image is a CC Designs rubber stamp, coloured with Promarkers and the papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs and are by Zoe Pearn. You wouldn't believe the trouble I had with this card, first of all I bought the papers but for some reason WinZip refused to unzip them so I had to download another extractor. Then I layered the paper onto pink card and realised I only had a little bit left to layer the image onto so had to cut the image down really small so I think it kinda looks out of place. Then to top it all off I put the gems in the corner and they were the wrong shade of Pink so don't really match but once i'd put them on I couldn't get them off again without ripping the paper so in the end I gave up and left them there.
