Mojo Monday Week #67

I have made this card following this weeks Mojo Monday sketch but because I used a square card I couldn't fit the sentiment on. I have used my new Sarah Kay, Time For Apple Pie stamp that the girls bought me for Christmas and coloured her with Promarkers. The lovely glittery papers are Doodlebug which I received from my Secret Santa on the Cuddly Buddly forum. So thank you Secret Santa whoever you are.

MTTC-Green

Managed to sneak in a quick card today using my new Elzybells stamp that the girls bought me for Christmas. The MTTC challenge which was set before Christmas was to use the colour green so I am going to use this card for the challenge. I have coloured her with Promarkers, which the girls also bought me a few new colours of, and the papers are from my stash but can't remember where they came from. The ribbons is out of the embellishment caddy I won from the PBSC.

Merry Christmas Everyone

I would just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and would also like to thank you all for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely comments over the past months. All my craft stuff has been put away now till after Christmas and I'm missing it already, it feels really weird not to be making cards every day but at least after Christmas I'll have some new stash to play with, I hope.

Not A Card

Todays challenge over at the Forever Friends Challenge Blog is to make anything but a card so I
decided to make a mini chocolate bar holder. I found a video of how to make these at Dawn Stamping Thoughts but made it slightly wider to fit two Cadbury's Dairy Milk fun size bars. If you get chance nip over to her blog for a peep she has got some great tutorial videos there. I have used a FF stamp, coloured with Promarkers and papers from DCWV.

I have used a PB stamp, coloured with Promarkers with a bit of added glamour dust, papers from Pink Petticoat and the greeting was printed on the PC.

Another Quickie Card

My friend asked me if I could make a quick Christmas card for her grandaughter's teacher so thought I would try to fit it in with a couple of challenges. The first challenge is the SCSC which this week is a theme set by the very talented Kim, EMBOSSING, HEAT OR DRY and with a bit of a stretch I think I can use it for the PTW challenge which is a recipe. They would like to see
1 ribbon
2 rectangles and
3 small, round embellishments (zooms, eyelets, brads, buttons, gems etc!)
My 1 ribbon is the bow, the 2 rectangles are the white cardstock that I have stamped onto and embossed and the red cardstock that I have layered it onto (I hope this counts) and the 3 small, round embellishments are gems, 1 either side of the greeting and if you look closely you will see a small one on the mistletoe that the little birdie is holding. I have used a PB stamp which I have coloured with Promarkers.

Dutch Dare/FF Challenge

Well I thought I had finished all of my Christmas cards but keep thinking of ones that I haven't done like this one for my sister from the girls. I am going to use this one for the Dutch Dare challenge which was to use a scalloped edge somewhere on your card and the FF challenge which was to make a contemporary Christmas card and I think this could count for that because its not traditional colours. I have used an FF stamp, coloured with Promarkers and FF papers.
