A Card For A Girl

The Dutch Dare Challenge this week was to make a card for a girl. I needed to make a quick card this morning for a birthday I had forgotten about so thought I would also use it for the challenge. I have used papers from The Daisy Company and the image is from Kim's Teddy Bears Alphabet Download. I have decoupaged the 3 then mounted the whole image onto 3d foam. The greeting was printed on the PC and also mounted on 3d foam.

I saw the fold for this card on Edna's blog so thought I would try it out, thanks Edna. The papers are from a DCWV Christmas Stack that I bought last year. The greeting has been printed on the PC.

Get Well

This weeks Dutch Dare challenge was to make a get well card. I have used a Penny Black stamp coloured with Copics and a bit of Cuttlebugging. The text was printed on PC. Wish now tho that I hadn't put the ribbon on cos now it's on the card I don't think it really goes with the pink surround and I didn't really leave enough room to stick it down so had to put it over the dots and its turned out looking scruffy. Oh well another thing to put down to experience.

Recipe

This weeks MTTC challenge was a recipe you must use on your card, 1 ribbon, 1 flower, 2 buttons and some glitter. I have used a Penny Black stamp, coloured with Copics, a prima flower and buttons from my stash, I added 1 extra button for balance. The glitter is on the centre of the flower.

Papertake Challenge

This weeks Papertake Challenge was another fab sketch from Katharina. I decided on another Christmas card for this one. I have used a Pink Petticoat papers and Lola Rose image, coloured in Psp. The tree is decoupaged and I have added some Glamour Dust here and there. I've just noticed tho that I have forgotten to colour her face and hair so will have to do that at some point.

Wedding card and gift card

I've not made many cards this week, not really been in the mood, but I did make these for a friend. The first is a card the second is a gift voucher holder. I have used Kim's Teddy Bears Wedding download which I have printed onto linen card. The text was also printed onto linen card. I have gone over some parts of the image with sakura stardust pens to add a bit of glimmer but it doesn't show very wel in the photo.

Cuddly Buddly Carla

When I started this card it was going to be for a sketch challenge but it didn't matter what papers or image I used when I laid it out on the card blank it just didn't look right and in the end I decided it was the actually sketch I didn't like so I ditched the challenge and did my own thing. I have used Cuddly Buddly Carla stamp, coloured with Copics and papers from Raspberry Road, some DCWV textured card and a flower and brads from my stash.
