Cool Yule


The Papertake Weekly challenge this week was to make a Christmas card, I made two quick and easy ones yesterday and couldn't decide on which one to use so am going to use both. I have used Pink Petticoat Lola Rose images on both cards which have been coloured with Copics, Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder on the first and DCWV papers on the second one.

Down On The Farm

This weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge was Down On The Farm and you should use a animal that would be found on a farm. I haven't got any cows or sheep but I do have a cat and thought that most farms would probably have a cat somewhere. Have used Daisy papers and the image is coloured with Copics.

A Couple Of Christmas Cards


Picked up these to stamps yesterday at my fav craft shop in Totnes and couldn't wait to have a play. Both stamps are coloured with Copics, I just love these markers at the moment. The papers on the first card are Pink Petticoat and the ribbon is Anita's, the papers on the second one are DCWV.

Friday Sketches Challenge 12

This weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge is a sketch by Jacqueline from the Netherlands. I have used papers from Pink Petticoat and Tinkers Vineyard a bit of embossing using Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and Kim's Charley stamp coloured with Copics. The flowers and ribbon are from my stash.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

This card was made for this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge. The sketch is another from Katharina. I have used Kim's Emmy stamp which has been coloured with Copics and the papers are from Raspbery Road Designs

Michelle's Blogoversary Round Two

Made this card for Michelles challenge over at The Card Grotto. The challenge was to make your card using one colour group, you can also you one other colour for the base of your card and the card to stamp on. You can colour your stamp with different colours as long as the main colour is there somewhere. As you can see I've choosen purple. The flower on the Penny Black stamp has been coloured with purple shimmery paints although by the way the flash has caught it looks more silver. The papers are from Pink Petticoat.

Artfully Asian

The MTTC challenge this week was Artfully Asian, now I've never been very good at Geography but I think tigers are from India aren't they? If not I'll apologise now for getting the challenge wrong :lol: The image is from the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD and once again the background is Cuttlebugged with the Swiss Dots folder and the text was printed on the PC.

Snow Much Fun

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week is Snow Much Fun. You need to make a Christmas card which features snow in some way, and of course a Penny Black stamp. This is my attempt. I have used papers from Pink Petticoat and the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder for the background and a few added punched snowflakes.

Here's my card for this weeks Tilda and Co challenge which was to give Tilda a distressed look. I have used papers from Daisy Company and have paper pieced Tilda to match the background. I inked the flowers using a bronze ink pad to give them a distressed look and the 40 was cut on the Cuttlebug

Dutch Dare Challenge 5

Well I almost missed this weeks Dutch Dare challenge so this is a bit of a rush job today. The challenge was to use only one piece of designer paper on your card, so I thought I would do another Christmas card. I have used a Penny Black stamp which I have watercoloured, Pink Petticoat paper and once again my Cuttlebug but this time I have used the snowflake folder which I have lightly chalked in blue but you can't really see it from the photo. The image is stuck down with 3d foam although from the photo it looks like it's coming unstuck.

Numbers

Numbers is the MTTC challenge for this week and seeing as its my mums 75th birthday on Monday I thought I would make her card and use that for the challenge. The numbers are from the Pink Petticoat Big Bloomers download which I have printed onto purple card, cut out and then glittered with Glamour Dust. The greeting was also printed on the PC and the background is done with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.

Penny Black Challenge 4

The Penny Black Challenge this week was to use Buttons and Brads on your card. I've only just bought this stamp and this was the first time I've used it and I love it. Normally I go for the Hedgies because I find then quite easy to colour but fancied a change and I was quite pleased with the way I coloured this one. The papers are from the Daisy Company.

Papertake Weekly

This weeks Papertake challenge was to make a Thank You card with an optional extra of using coffee and cream colours but these colours didn't fit in with what I wanted to do so I just went with purple and white. I have used the Carla stamp from Cuddly Buddly coloured with copics and the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The sentiment was printed on the PC.
